Who We Are

Hindu Cultural Society

The HCS Temple was established in 2009 with generous donations from the HCS community in Staffordshire and Cheshire. With over 1,000 families, the community comes together to participate in various pujas and major religious events held at the temple.

We celebrate significant Hindu festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Sri Rama Navami, Holi, Dussehra Navaratri Puja, Diwali, and Ayyappa Swamy Puja. On these occasions, prasadam is prepared at the temple or sponsored by community members. A dedicated team of 40 HCS volunteers ensures the smooth distribution of prasadam during these events.

Thanks to the continued support and donations from the HCS community, we are now in the final phase of Sthapana. The temple building has been renovated following Hindu Shastra guidelines and local fire safety standards.
A special altar has been created for the installation of deities (Vigrahas). We are delighted to have received granite statues of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy and Sri Lakshmi Maata from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Makhrana marble statues of other deities from Rajasthan. Our goal is to complete the Sthapana process soon and appoint a full-time priest, for whom an accommodation suite is being prepared within the temple.
To mark this sacred occasion, we plan to hold a grand three-day event for the Vigraha Sthapana (idol installation). Twelve priests will conduct havan, Vedic pujas, and the installation ceremony. Our trust board members will reach out to the HCS community for their kind support in fundraising for this auspicious event.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and look forward to celebrating this significant milestone together.
